The official logo and / or name of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) are duly protected trademarks under the Paris Convention.

Nevertheless, it has been brought to our attention that its emblem and official name are being unlawfully used for marketing, financial, investment as well as other business activities by fraudulent organizations, entities, agencies and individuals falsely alleging formal or informal links or agency relationships with OPEC in order to gain credibility.

BE WARNED that, OPEC is in no way linked to any such organizations, businesses, entities or individuals.

Anyone wishing to forge a link with OPEC should do so via clearly established and widely publicized official channels by directly contacting the OPEC Secretariat at its Headquarters in Vienna, Austria.
